For the rest of our amazing teams, it’s do or die as you battle it out this week (Saturday 30th August) for your chance at a Grand Final spot!

Let’s finish the season strong!
Come down and support your club, every cheer counts!

We’re proud to announce that 8 of our teams advanced to Round 1 of finals on Saturday 23rd August.
What an incredible achievement. Congratulations to those teams.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make Saturday 7th June such a success!
Thanks to the incredible support of our Wavell Netball Club community, we raised a fantastic amount and were blown away by the generosity and involvement from members. 💜
From Thursday night deliveries to all-day stall helpers, we had members showing up nonstop. Some stayed the whole day, others came before or after their daughter’s game – every bit of help counted.
To everyone who helped set up, pack down, man the stall, and bring goodies – THANK YOU. This day was a true reminder that our club is more than just about netball. We are a community, and we couldn’t be prouder to be part of it..

Winter 2025 Season has started. Round 1 commenced 24 May 2025.
The Draw and Scoring is available for all teams now in the Netball Connect app.
Check the Winter 2025 Season Information page for Team and other information.

Please review the below information relating to the 2025 Winter Day Season.
What division are you/your daughter playing in

POSSIBLE game times and POSSIBLE division playing times.
We will have confirmed start times from BNA by Thursday morning.
This is based on the following factors
1. We expect to start the season with 8 operational courts. Courts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10 & 13
2. Game durations will be
· Moddies – 10-minute quarters
· Juniors, Inters and Opens – 12-minute quarters
3. POSSIBLE Game start times
· 8.00 Moddies and NetSetGo
· 9.00 Juniors
· 10.10 Juniors and Inters
· 11.20 Inters
· 12.30 Inters
· 13.40 Opens
· 14.50 Opens
· 16.00 Opens
We expect that we will have 2 additional courts, 11 & 14, available by 31 May. This will result in a rework of the draw and probably moving the Opens and Inters back to 15-minute quarters. The remaining 4 courts will become available staged across the season.

THINGS TO NOTE:
1. This is a construction site so there will be fences around the unfinished courts.
2. There are concrete pathways to allow easy movement between the courts.
3. Please be respectful of the residents when parking in the surrounding streets ensuring that we don’t block their driveways.
4. If you end up parking on the hospital side of the road, please be safe when crossing Rode Rd
5. All grading games will be paper scoring and the score board will need to be collected from the Games Desk. Scoring via the Netball Connect app will start at Round 1 of the competitive season.
6. There will be limited seating around the court so please bring a fold up seat
REMINDER – THERE WILL BE NO PARKING AT BNA.
There will be a drop off circuit. I will send you details as soon as I have confirmation.
2 weeks of grading starting on Saturday May 10 – THIS SATURDAY!!!!!
The first 2 weeks of the season will be dedicated as grading games.
The grading process is as below.
1. All games are split rounds – This means that we will play the first 2 quarters then move to a new court and play the second 2 quarters against a different team.
2. This will allow us to play against 4 teams and get a sense if this the correct division for each team.
3. After the grading games have been completed, teams will be placed into their final division.
First game of the competitive season will start on Saturday 24th May.
Please be respectful of officials, umpires and other players. Everybody is trying to find their way around the new complex.
Please arrive AT LEAST 15 minutes early. It is going to be hard to find you way around.
Please exit the courts as soon as your game finishes
Please allow the finishing team players time to exit the court
Thank you for your patience. I understand that the seasons start has been anything but smooth. Ultimately, we will have amazing courts, and a new club house. It will all be worth the stress.
I look forward to seeing you on the courts.
Regards
Mike
