Mini Carnival Details

We are excited to announce that the Mini Carnival is just around the corner! This event promises to be a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills and have fun playing netball.

Event Details:

  • Date: Saturday, 22nd March
  • Time: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Please refer to the attached schedule for age-specific times)
  • Location: Aspley State High School, 651 Zillmere Rd, Aspley QLD 4034 (see attached image for where to find us)

Age Groups:

  • Moddies:  8.30am to 9:15am  (Born 2016-2017)
  • Juniors: 9:30am to 10.45am  (Born 2015-2014)
  • Inters: 11am to 12.15pm (Born 2013-2011)
  • Opens: 1pm to 3pm (Born 2010 or earlier)

What to Bring:

  • A positive attitude and your A-game!
  • Comfortable sportswear (T-shirt, shorts, or bike pants)
  • Appropriate footwear (Please avoid slippers, slides, or Crocs)
  • A water bottle (staying hydrated is key)
  • Sunscreen (We will be under cover, but it’s important to stay protected)
  • A good spirit and maybe some lucky charms!

Important Note:
Please be aware that teams will not be finalised until after the Mini Carnival. As a result, there will be no training on Thursday, 20th March. Team decisions will be made once the carnival concludes.

Additionally, our Uniform Convenor, Alison Jones, will be on-site with limited stock available for the upcoming season. This is a great opportunity to check out the available options. You can also explore our second-hand uniforms and online shop:

$25 discount for each additional player from the same address. You must ensure that all players are added to the checkout at the same time in Netball Connect via the “Add another participant” option to enable this discount.

Fair Play Vouchers are accepted. To ensure they are applied, please add your child’s FairPlay Voucher Number to their registration in Netball Connect (via the Add Government Voucher option at checkout) before completing payment. Vouchers will only be applied if entered prior to payment, Vouchers cannot be added once payment has been completed. If you have any questions or need assistance, please email us at [email protected]

Registration closes Sunday 16th February

No piercings allowed during games! For safety reasons, players must remove all jewellery and piercings to avoid injury. This includes watches, smart watches, and fitness trackers.

Summer Season opportunity @ Downey Park

Summer night competition opportunity.

The BNA grounds will be unavailable for the summer season due to the improvement works being carried out.  The committee has looked at potential competitions for the club to attend during the summer season.  The option for the club has chosen is at Downey Park Netball Association, corner of Green Terrace and Northey St Windsor.

Information about the competition 

Games – All games will be 4 x 10-minute rounds
Cost for season – approx $100 per player (To be confirmed. All costs include playing fees & umpire costs)
If any new players, (who have not played winter season) wish to play with the team there will be an extra cost of $53.00 to cover Netball Qld. insurance.

Grading Saturday March 9th

It is important that you come to grading if at all possible.  There are many new players joining the club this season. We need to make sure you are in the best team to suit you.
